England Test cricketer Keaton Jennings joins Gisborne for 2026/27. He arrives in late October and stays until the end of March, playing, helping run the senior coaching program and taking a key role in the club's new Junior High Performance Academy.

The club's first Mental Health Round, across 10 and 11 October, raising awareness and money for the Danny Frawley Centre. The McIntyre Cup and women's teams wear the new Stealth kit, a black and grey strip that says mental health can be hidden in the dark, but conversation, connection and support bring it into the light.
Saturday 10 October, from 6:30pm, Gardiner Reserve clubrooms. Finger food provided.
Special guest Tom Boyd, AFL premiership player, on mental health and professional sport. Supported by Macedon Ranges Glass.

The Cricket Club was one of the most popular institutions of Gisborne, and it provided an excellent means of recreation and amusement for the young men of the town.
